Position: Housing Intake Specialist

Wage: $26.11 to $30.03 per hour

Job Summary: The Housing Intake Specialist performs skilled administrative support conducting applicant and client interviews; collecting, verifying and processing information related to the client or applicant to determine initial and ongoing eligibility for housing. Working with diverse populations, including but not limited, clients with disabilities, of various age, race, religion, sexual orientation, and/or
national origin. Assisting property managers with varied administrative work.

Minimum requirements: Two years of job-related experience or equivalent combination. Strong computer skills, detail-oriented, and a background in tenant/landlord law & housing experience is preferred.

Occupancy Specialist

Wage: $26.53 - $31.84/hour

The Occupancy Specialist performs intermediate technical work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Conducts applicant and/or participant interviews; collecting, verifying and processing information related to the participant and/or applicant to determine initial and ongoing eligibility for applicable housing programs; monitoring cases for disputes, potential fraud and program violations and working with diverse populations, including but not limited to, participants and/or applicants who are non-English speaking or English speaking as a second language, having mental and/or physical disabilities, of various age, race, religion, sexual orientation, and/or national origin.

Minimum requirements: Two years secondary education plus two years of job-related experience or equivalent combination. Strong computer skills, detail-oriented, and a background in tenant/landlord law & housing experience is preferred.
